If you’re not familiar with SEMRush, it’s a tool that helps you understand what keywords people are searching for. You can use SEMRush to find out what kind of content is ranking for the keywords you want to rank for and what type of content those pages have. This way, when you create your own pieces of content, you’ll know exactly how to structure them so that they’ll rank for the terms you want.

You can also use SEMRush to see who’s linking to other pages in your niche and contact them with a pitch about why they should link back to yours.

Another thing SEMRush can do is help you find out where other people are getting their links from and contact those sites directly asking them if they’d like to link back to yours instead.

SEMRush really is a powerful tool for link building. It’s easy to use, and it can help you find opportunities to build links that are relevant and valuable to your business.

First, you’ll want to use SEMRush’s keyword research tool to see what topics are already getting linked to. This way, you’ll know what kinds of content and sites already exist in your industry, which can help guide your own strategy.

Next, look at the competitors’ pages that are currently ranking well for keywords related to yours. You can do this by searching for the keyword in SEMRush’s search box and then clicking on “Competitors” in the left sidebar. This will give you a list of all the sites currently ranking well for that keyword. Then, check out those pages’ backlinks and see if any of them seem like they’d be good places for you to get links from as well!

Finally, you can use the Search Engine Keywords Report to find keywords that your competitors rank for organically, as well as what keywords they’re not trying to rank for. Furthermore, you can find keywords that you want to rank for organically but aren’t currently ranking for yet. Then, pick one of those keywords and start creating content around it!

If you haven’t heard of Zapier, it’s a tool that lets you connect web apps together using IF THEN statements.

When you create a combination of web apps, they’re called “zaps.”

Zapier has over 2,000 apps you can mix and match, so there are virtually an infinite number of automations you can create.

But since this tutorial is about link building automation, that is what we will do.
To prepare our link building automation, we need to do some of the manual work first, like getting a list of link prospects, vetting them and finding the first and last name of authors or editors.

You’ll learn how to do this in the video.

Then, it’s time to start building the zap.

There are a few steps involved:
